Inkari has been wonderful to have around. She&#8217;s probably sick of answering all of our questions, but I&#8217;m learning a lot about Germany. I&#8217;m quite anxious to take a trip there&#8230; hopefully soon!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been trying to get out on the lake &#8211; except for when it&#8217;s super windy, like tonight. One evening we took a hike through the woods at a place we call &#8220;Slim Chance&#8221;. We came upon a beaver dam and decided to cross it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1323\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/erin\/files\/2009\/10\/img_2074-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"img_2074\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">It was no problem on the way over&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1324\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/erin\/files\/2009\/10\/img_2075-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"img_2075\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">On the way back, however, I ONCE AGAIN misjudged my foot placement and ended up sinking right into the nasty muckiness.
