The secret: cat food!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cat Food Works!\" style=\"width: 238px;height: 179px\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/07\/catfood2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is our local &#8220;Vana&#8221; displaying some tastey cat fish just waiting to entice some nice fat shrimp to our pots.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Here's \" style=\"width: 247px;height: 185px\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/07\/catfood1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, the weather is nice.  I think Bill 3 brought the sunny weather to Valdez.  Everyone says it&#8217;s been a rainy summer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Ready For Shrimping\" style=\"width: 244px;height: 332px\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/07\/shrimppots.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"108\" height=\"146\" alt=\"bjshrimp-01.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/12\/bjshrimp-01.thumbnail.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today, Thursday, we had another blue sky day so we decided to hike the Shoup Bay Trail to Gold Creek.  It&#8217;s a hot one!  It feels like 80 degrees out, but when we returned from our trek, the thermometer at 3:30 said 67 degrees.  Of course we loaded up with plenty of water, but having nothing with for Rudy, Bill 3 created a nifty and efficient drinking bowl using some of the plant leaves along the trail.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Rudy's Drinking Bowl\" style=\"width: 242px;height: 181px\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/07\/drinkingbowl.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a couple of handsome guys I happened upon on the trail. We never made it all the way to Gold Creek.  The trail was only maintained about half the way out there and the stinging nettles were killers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Gold Creek Hike\" style=\"width: 241px;height: 179px\" src=\"http:\/\/bbryson.com\/mom\/files\/2006\/07\/GoldCreek1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Remember that cat food?  We have big plans for those cat food cans.
