Bill and I hit a Christmas concert last night. A handful of his students were performing in the jazz band, concert band, and wind ensemble at VHS, so we decided to check it out. I am always amazed by musical folks. I mean, I like to belt out Brittney’s latest as much as the next guy, and I do a mean rendition of “chopsticks”, but we were talking serious talent at this concert. It was fun to watch and probably the only way I’ll ever get Bill to voluntarily sit and listen to Christmas tunes.
Lo was out this past weekend. That was nice. She added a little mario kart excitement to our lives. April joined us on Saturday, too. It’s always fun to just hang out with my sisters. They are silly as ever, and that makes me happy.
I’ve got a moderately busy work week which includes an evaluative observation and a parent activity on top of the normal holiday craziness. I actually sort of like these overloaded days. They go by quickly and keep me hopping.
I hope each of you is finding time for yourself through the hustle and bustle!
Glad you had fun at the concert… I’m sure the kids appreciated you (more-so Bill) being there!
Thanks for letting me hang out at your house– it’s fun to be there- and the room temperature is just PERFECT;)
I’m anxious to hear how well your parent activity went–
xoxo
I don’t know… I haven’t seen the annual Bryson’s “Elf Yourself” clip… can the holiday season TRULY be in full swing??
Hope you’re enjoying December! One more week until break! (give or take a day…)
Perhaps I’ll find a moment to buzz out to The Lake while we’re up North…
Holiday Hugs,
Melissa
Did you get a tree yet?
I can’t email you, but I thought that I’d drop a line on the blog and tell you that it is now 1:30 AM and I am extremely bored. I probably just jinxed myself. Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying a snow day! Love you!
