Happy New Year, Everyone! I hope you celebrated the end of a great year and are ready for the next adventures.
No resolutions for me this year. I think each day holds a chance for improvement, so I won’t limit myself to one or two items to work at.
It looks like I stayed in Minnesota long enough to see winter arrive. Here’s a picture from last night while I was shoveling off the skating rink… I only got 1/2 of it done, as the snow was very wet and heavy.
The New Year couldn’t look more beautiful. Here’s the view out Dad’s front door this morning.

It’s a winter wonder land… can’t ask for much more than that.
Looks wonderful. Wish I was there with you.
Bill
Beautiful Pictures…no new years resolutions here either…i agree continuous improvement can happen all the time…not just at the beginning of a new year!
Missing you…but happy that you are lovin’ life in MN.
hugs,
tiff:)
Hey there!
What gorgeous pictures! I was so happy when I woke up at 6:00 on Sunday morning to see blizzard-like conditions outside our house. Josh said, “Hey! It did snow this year!” We only got a couple of inches, and I would bet it will all melt by the end of the week with temps forecast in the low 40s, but it looked like winter for a day or so!
It was great to catch up with you guys over break. Hopefully we’ll be able to do that more often in the future!
Being back at school today is a challenge–I was so happy being carefree for a while. I take heart in knowing that I only have ten weeks left of school for the year. Of course, my life will be full of lots of other adventures, but good things to be sure!
Love ya,
Melissa
Your house looks beautiful with the snow, Erin! I hope your Christmas was good. It was nice to see you this last month—the hockey game (thank you for the tickets:)) and McD’s…. Enjoy the rest of your time in Cook.
