We walked home from the Fleherty’s after an evening of wine tasting just in time to see the sun slowly dropping over the ocean. It was a gorgeous sunset – as so many of them here are. The most interesting part, though… this picture was taken at 11:15 pm! As Bill and I headed to bed two hours later, it was still dusk! I imagine I won’t see true darkness again before I hit Minnesota! I do enjoy the light.
I like the new changes in your blog, Erin—happy colors!
I, too, enjoy the new look. It’s very sunny–unlike our weather around here the past few days.
One of these days, I promise I’ll get an update on my blog! We make our first BIG trip up north next weekend, so that should provide lots to write about. Evan did great on the 3-hour ride to great-grandma Haugen’s this week, so we’re hoping for smooth travels!
Happy packing, organizing, selling, etc. We can’t wait to see you!
Love ya,
Melissa

PS. I can’t tell you how much I miss that sunset… enjoy it while you’re there… I have quickly come to miss many things about Unalakleet.
