Since we got to Dad’s we’ve been doing a pretty nice job of relaxing and hanging out. Bill and I did put some time in on the skating rink (which happened to have gotten a ton of snow this past week!), but we haven’t yet thrown our skates on. Maybe tomorrow!
We finally went and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks – very cute! We also went to a Christmas party at the nursing home. It’s been nice to hang out with Lo, Ape, and Jesse… Dad had to work all weekend due to the winter storms.
Monday night we went to the 4:00 church service and then grabbed Gram and Gramp to head out for our Aune Christmas. It was a very nice evening, and my grandparents were troopers. We got them back to their room after 9:00, and Grandma wanted to crawl right into bed without changing into jammies. She was wiped! I’m so glad they were able to spend the evening with us.
