I happened to wake up just after 6:00 this morning. I glanced out our bedroom window that faces the lake and saw that the sky was filled with orange. It didn’t take long before the sun came all the way up, and the sky changed dramatically.

Those are breath-taking photos. I can’t even imagine what it looked like in real-life.
There is nothing I love more than waking up early in the morning and sitting outside. It is so different than any other time of day.

I always love the sunrise and sunset on the lake. Particularly out in the boat. It’s kind of a peaceful, magical time. Great pictures! You should quit teaching and become a professional photographer. anyway, what WERE you doing up at 6? That’s crazy! Love ya!

Simply beautiful…yes I would say well worth waking up for in the AM. We had a sun dog here today. I haven’t seen one of those since we left the village, but I didn’t get a picture…shucks
