Heading East

It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve had to fly anywhere… I was getting used to having my feet on the ground! That’s changed now, though, as I’m on my way to Baltimore. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the week goes quickly and smoothly. I can’t wait to get back out on the tube.

Bill and  I had our first anniversary yesterday. I’d have said celebrated, but we really didn’t do much out of the ordinary aside from eating some year old cake. It was tasty! We just hung around the house, went tubing a couple of times, and got packed up for our trips today. It’s very hard to believe that a whole year has gone by since we got married. What a fast year.

April is officially done with the school year. She’ll tutor a few hours each week through the summer, but otherwise she’ll pretty much be free to do whatever. Part of that whatever includes going to Wisconsin Dells next week. It’s going to be a fun trip.

Apparently Lo had an exciting night at work. I have no idea what the circumstances were… more to come, I guess!

I’m looking forward to the end of June when I have no more travel commitments. (Work wise, anyway.) I fully intent to plant myself on the shores of Lake Vermilion through July!

Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for today!

Be safe while you’re in Baltimore. Give me a jingle when you get back to Minnesota. Miss you lots and lots.

How was your trip to Baltimore??!! We’re in Connecticut right now. We saw Niagara Falls yesterday, toured West Point today, and we head to NYC after a quick stop to visit the family I worked for in the morning. They’ve agreed to let us park our car there for a few days, so we’ll take a train into the city and avoid parking fees and traffic fiascoes!

Check out the blog… new posts and pictures.

    I hope you’re enjoying summer!

    Love ya,
