Today was Grandma and Grandpa’s Anniversary. I love their wedding picture! Grandpa never actually proposed to Gram, he just called her up from Kansas City and told her if she wanted to get married she should take the bus down. So, she did – and then she headed back to Cook on the bus while Gramp stayed in Kansas City and eventually went to India during WWII.

I’m happily camped out in Unalakleet for a couple of weeks. I finished up my work reports today – yea! – and will move on to my classes and job applications in the next couple of days. For now, though I’m enjoying some down time.
Bill and I got out on some wonderful walks this weekend, and I was hoping to head out after he got home this evening. It was awfully windy, though, so we decided to hit the climbing wall instead. I am also learning to post video in my blog – so you can have a look at me navigating my way around the wall. It’s not terribly exciting, but something new, I guess.

Looking forward to the return of LOST tomorrow night. 🙂
Love to you all!
Hello! Glad to hear you’re tying up loose ends! I also enjoyed your climbing video. The way it ends, though, it looks as if you’re falling–are you OK?!?!
We have another ultrasound today–baby is a little bigger than the doctor would expect for where we’re at, so we’ll go and find out just HOW big! We’ve been in the “nesting” phase since we found out that I’m measuring about three weeks ahead of schedule… the end is in sight!
Gotta run. Some of us still have to go to work today!
Love ya,
Melissa
Hi Ersy! I just love the extreme sports you are in 😉
It’s really cold here today ( again!). It was -40 wind chill this morning. Not so fun…..
Anyways- not too many days and you’ll be HOME. I can’t wait.
Happy Wednesday.
love you tons
Hey Scootie……not much to say….just thought I’d say hello. Can’t wait to get my card from you!!!! And I definitely can’t wait until you come home!!!! Have a good day. Love ya lots…..Lo
WOW…it is way cool to see you on the climbing wall…you look real professional!
Your grandparents are so darn cute…and Rick & I got a good chuckle on the proposal…too fun!
hugs,
tiff 🙂
Your Grandpa went to India during WWII? Great picture of the two of them Erin! And I love that story, it makes me laugh. So, the other day I used a gift certificate you had given me to buy some tea from adagio. I love it! So far I have only tried the chocolate tea (have you ever even heard of chocolate flavored tea?). How fun. And I love being able to welcome people into my room with a cup of tea:0).
The semester is looking busy, but there are things I am really looking forward to, like starting practicum in an elementary school. I just feel like flying in 20 different directions right now, there are so many things I want to do!
I hope you’re doing well and I love you!
;0)
