Today I thought perhaps I couldn’t escape that little rain cloud hovering over me. (Apparently April had a touch of bad luck as well… she called today to inform me she had 2 flat tires!) Anyway, my final straw was the loss of some fairly important documents I’ve put a lot of work into the past couple of weeks. They seemed to disappear into thin air… or perhaps my computer ate them. I’m not sure. But after a couple hours of running a scanning program, I’ve decided to accept that they’re gone.
Ordinarily, I probably would’ve cried, yelled a litte, maybe thrown something, 🙂 … but today, it just doesn’t seem to matter. Instead, I’m smiling because I awoke to unexpected e-mails from an old college friend and a cousin who had just discoverd smiley face icons. 🙂 Because I spent the morning with one of my dearest friends. Because my dad called today and he always makes me laugh. Because it was around 40 degrees outside here on this sunny day. Because Bill and I had a nice phone conversation with another college friend and his wonderful wife. And because I know that tomorrow is going to come, despite my missing files.
We’ve got a weekend of gatherings ahead of us. Tomorrow we’ll spend the evening at a wine tasting, and Sunday we’ll celebrate Easter at the Johnsons. We’re blessed.

I hope you enjoy your weekend. I don’t have many plans….work, which puts a wrench into things. But I do plan on going to see grandma and grandpa on Sunday……anywho…..Love ya lots……Lo

nothing planned here…we welcome the spring bunny on sunday morning…hunt for easter eggs…eat chocolate…and if we are lucky go for a mush! but the weather is suppose to get to 50F w/ rain..YUCK!

I am loving the Random Image… VERY cool!
So, I’m a little behind the times, but we had a nice, quiet weekend here in Kandiyohi. It was too soon to make the journey “Up North” as Josh had just gone back to work the previous Monday, and he didn’t have Easter Monday off. We find we need a four day weekend to make the trip enjoyable. Otherwise, it’s just a lot of driving and rushing around. We’ll head up the second weekend in May for both Mother’s Day and to meet our new niece?!

and it is so sunny here…we are having warm weather…the boys’ are at school today…got a chance to go to the clinic…rick is at the office…i have the house to myself…off to work in the boys’ classroom today…we need to catch up…big grins 🙂
