Well, I finally bought my bike. I got a great deal on a used one from my co-worker, Robin. It’s a pretty orangish-red color with a “granny” seat, so it’s super comfy. I couldn’t resist a little ride tonight, so Bill and I headed out just before dark… not realizing the slight drizzle had become a full fledged rain. We went anyway (yeah, probably not great for the gears), and got soaked (still fun!). Now I can truly get on my plan to ride to work a couple times a week! Looking forward to it…
I admire your ambition! I need a granny seat for my bike. The last time I rode, I didn’t walk right for a week! (Josh and I have matching bikes… how cute is that?!?)
I am gearing up for a fitness kick… I bought myself a decent treadmill, and it should be delivered tomorrow. I need to do something after the baby, and I just couldn’t bring myself to take time away from him after school to go to the gym. This way, I can walk or jog in the morning and after he goes to sleep at night… sounds good. We’ll see how it works out. Hey, I’m getting better at blogging, so maybe in a couple years I’ll be consistent about my walking, too! 😉
You guys are always so active! Good for you that you got a bike. Maybe next summer we can do some riding together. Remember, however, I’m old!
