We headed off to Abbie’s soccer game early Saturday morning… of course not before grabbing a Starbucks. 😉 It was rainy and cool, but the girls just kept on playing! Here’s a picture of Abbie on the field… she’s the one in the red socks.

And here’s her family.

Abbie and I played with ringtones (big surprise) in the back of our 6 passenger rental car… very interesting design, but just the right amount of room for our crew!

Bill had a chance to share some computer knowledge with Stacie’s mom, Debbie. It was fun to see the house Stacie grew up in and meet her mom… Josh’s too!

We stayed as long as we felt we could with a 3 hour drive ahead of us, and luckily we got a chance to meet Stephanie, Stacie’s sister. It’s funny, because I felt like I’d known these people already just from all the stories we’d heard and pictures we’d seen up north.

Of course, we had to leave at some point. I couldn’t help but wish we’d had a few more days to spend out west, but I’m certainly thankful for the couple of days we had. And now, well, we’ll just continue to look forward to our next visit!
You’ve summed up our time together perfectly! It makes me feel sad and happy all at the same time. It was fun to see the pictures and read about our weekend. What memories! Love and miss you guys!
It was a fun weekend! Check out my blog!!! I added more stuff!!!! I am sooo excited!
Miss you already!
Abbie

Hi Chewy, I’ve been trying to get your cell number… we should get together ;0)
I told you I was a blog stalker, I thought I better comment this time 🙂 It was great to finally meet you guys, I have heard many stories about you for years now!!!!
Hi! Yes, yes, yes, we’re still on for Saturday. I can’t find your phone number, so email me again and I’ll give you a call later this week so we can make a plan. My voice is totally shot right now, so I’m not sure what tomorrow will bring at school–maybe I’ll head home early. Who knows. Anyway, I can’t wait to see you! I’m thinking perhaps meeting for lunch somewhere and then?? Evan will be coming with me, so I’ll only have a few hours before I have to head home. I do want to make a couple of shopping stops while I’m there (I always hit Kohl’s and Once Upon A Child). If you just want to meet for lunch or coffee, that’s great. If you want to do some shopping, that’s cool too. Send me your number and we can chat later this week!
Have a good Monday!
Hugs,
Melissa
