Back to Work

We have had an incredible break. It’s was so low-key and care free… just wonderful. And so, it’s a little bit hard to face the reality of work tomorrow.

The snow found us again this weekend, and so did the cold. Unfortunately, we haven’t quite figured out our water situation, and yesterday was spent waiting once again to hear the dripping faucets. It’s back now, though, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it’ll be good to go. If nothing else, this has provided me with plenty of entertainment as I watch Bill choose his attire for checking under the house. What a goof…

Lo and Ape  came out and spent a night. Of course that’s always fun, though I’m sure Bill thinks the 3 of us are crazy. He humors us, anyway.

Oh yes, I’ve been wanting to post a couple of pictures of things that are not typical “me”.

These are the bowls that Bill and I made one evening in his friend’s art room. I consider myself to be the opposite of artistic, so this was a little out there for me. Bill, however, seems to always feel at home… wherever – doing whatever! My bowl is the one in front. Bill made the other two – notice the big one had a little mishap. Bill chose the color and glazed them after they had been fired. While I don’t anticipate clearing my calendar for pottery 101, I do hope to try some more things that are a little out of my comfort zone this year.

And, this is my purse. It’s HUGE! It’s so the opposite of my normal brown or black bag that barely fits my wallet and check book. I ordered it online and wasn’t ready for it’s size. But now, I love it!

oh how i love to see bill being goofy…as that makes me appreciate him even more…he is way too much like rick, as that would surely be his attire to tackle the plumbing…giggle 😉

Love your bowls…the color is aweome…and you did a great job.

That purse is FANTASTIC!!!! Love the colors and the stripes.

Wishing you a happy Monday filled with smiling faces ready to share what they did on their break!!!

I would LOVE to take a pottery class! It all stems from the art class “pinch pots”. Though I can’t remember mine now, I’m pretty sure it was the best in the class 😉 . I love your purse too! And I’m triply glad to hear that the water is on. What is it with Bill? He can’t wear a full outfit? It’s either shorts and a shirt or snow pants and no shirt? He is entertaining. Hope your week at school is great! Love you!

I heart your purse and Bill is HOT in those bibs. I could say so many innapropriate things here about him checking my plumbing… But I will leave those thoughts for you…
