Class Blogs

A plug for my work…

My students are publishing some of their writing on their classroom blogs. Right now we’re just doing poetry. Poetry is hard for me. I don’t “get” it. But, I think my kids are great, and I love that they’re eager to share with a real audience. I think that’s the power of the blog.  No names are attached to my kids’ writing, but if you feel like checking it out – click HERE and check out our class members links at the bottom of the page. If you are inclined to leave a comment, feel free. I moderate all comments.

WAY cool! I wish we could use blogs and other current technology to publish student work. Our administration is currently afraid of resources like blogs, podcasts, YouTube, and anything remotely current or cool. It’s ALL blocked from our servers. BOO! HISS!! You’re a rockstar, though, and your kids poems are fun! Keep up the good work.

K – so you are officially an AWESOME teacher. I love that you have a blog! I went to it and your class website. AWESOME!

I’ve got two blogs going for my work, I keep our website updated, and do facebook daily with my youth kids…to teach them, you have to reach them! And they are on the web, right!

Hope all is going well. Miss you. ONE of these days I’ll start working on my blog again. I’ve been so bad about that.

Erin, this is neat. Hope your kids like it. Give me some tips. I’d like to do this on my professional blog. Maybe have the kids use it for great books…..

    Have a great day.
