Our break has been wonderful! We toyed around with the idea of traveling for a couple of nights, but early on decided to just plant ourselves at home. The past 12 days have felt like a true vacation. We’ve enjoyed holiday celebrations with family and friends. We got out skiing almost every day. We’ve watched movies in the comfort of our warm, cozy living room – and burned a lot of wood in the process. We spent time playing with our nieces and nephews. And we’ve snuggled up and marveled at the kicks and jabs of our own baby. It’s been absolutely perfect.
