My good friend, James, from high school got married yesterday. The service took place at the Fort Snelling Chapel in St. Paul, and it was lovely!
Of course the added bonus of weddings is the opportunity to visit with people I don’t get to see often. At this particular occasion, I was very thankful to be able to catch up with my friend Mary and for her ability to direct me through traffic! I was also happy for the chance to visit with Jenny and to finally meet her boyfriend, Chris. I drove back up North, so I didn’t stay as long as I would have liked to. Still, it was such a nice evening. I’m happy I got to be a part of it.
I love going to weddings… they are so happy! Glad you had fun and caught up with some old friends… always a bonus! Miss you, like always!
We SO wanted to be there, but we had a baptism (our new Godson) this morning, so we couldn’t make it. Glad you all had a nice time!
