Satellite internet is better than dial up… and better than nothing at all, I suppose. Still, it kind of stinks.
Somehow we ended up on the Fair Access Policy again yesterday. This means that we’ve gone over our download cap for the day, so we’re slowed to dial up speeds. We’re kept at those speeds for 24 hours (or longer if we don’t immediately STOP using the internet – Bill’s gone rounds with the company about this because it’s not what the contract states).
Anyway, we’re up and running again, and I’m back to wasting time.

we had this set up and didn’t know it, so we were always wondering why our system would slow way down…two years of that and we found out why in the spring of 2008….it is no fun…no fun at all…but you are right better than NONE.
