The past few weekends have been crazy busy, so I decided that we needed a litte getaway. We chose Duluth, and no, it did not magically become summer. We just left the camera back at the hotel while we were out Saturday afternoon, so I had to steal this picture.
We didn’t do a whole lot – I made Bill take me to the mall, and he waited patiently at Barnes & Noble while I spruced up my wardrobe with some spring colors and a new pair of cute boots. Then we headed to the omnimax to catch a couple of shows. I hadn’t been there since an elementary field trip, so that was kind of fun. We had a tasty lunch, sat in the sauna, and watched Slumdog Millionaire. Really, a pretty good, relaxing day.
I LOVE Duluth! So glad you got a chance to “get away.” Maybe we’ll need to find a mini-vacation when musical season is over.
I’m glad you had fun. Mike and I had fun on our getaway for his birthday last July. Can’t wait to see your new boots! And try out the dishwasher. Love you lots and lots…….Lo
